DIRECT CONNECT LOGISTIX
Direct Connect Logistix (DCL) is a 3PL, third party logistics, company headquartered in Indianapolis which provides technology enabled on-demand transportation and logistics management services. When Hirons first started working with DCL, they had just acquired two other logistic companies and were combining them into a new and significantly larger office space.
We were challenged to help them transition into one defined brand but still maintaining their current employee culture for retainment. With their support, we expanded their visual identity with a full logo suite, defined brand guide, corporate identification materials, canva social media kit, new website, and employee swag. In addition to help create their brand materials, they asked us to help transform their new office space with graphic wraps and interactive installations.

BRAND REFRESH + EXPANSION
In a fast-paced, high-energy culture, Direct Connect Logistix was looking to keep their visual identity young and fun to recruit and attract talent but with some polished elements that kept them approachable to new business. At Hirons, we expanded their brand with more logo variations, an expansive color palette, and graphic elements that could be piled on to make the brand look fun for internal uses and dialed back for external communication.
ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHICS
In a workplace filled with scooters and palm-sized basketballs, it was important to help create office installations that felt authentic to Direct Connect Logistix’s fun work environment. Their management wanted to keep some ‘urban’ elements from their old office space was filled with graffiti art from local artists. With touches of spray paint marks and halftone textures, my team and I identified a few office zones: a brainstorming collaborative space, a location for new employee training/hangout space, and some larger walls for employee recognition and company awards.
WEBSITE DESIGN
DCL expressed the need for a new website that both reflected the updated brand, but also elevated DCL’s online presence. Knowing their website serves as the first point of interaction for potential clients and partners, we focused on a modern, elevated design that put user interaction at the forefront. With thoughtful prioritization of content and visual elements, their website became a powerful tool to communicate the unique values of DCL, setting it apart from competitors.
